How our Quotes work


When you have a device with an issue we will provide a quote for the quote charge as noted on our services page.

We can provide a quick quote based on the issue and description as explained during initial communications, however without seeing the device itself this can be innacurate.

We can provide a better quote once we receive the device for inspection. Our initial inspection will be an external inspection only and may still be inaccurate if we believe we need to open the device for further inspection.

The most accurate quote will be available after opening the device in cases where this is required.

When a device is opened, this may void any warranty you may have with the manufacturer currently and understand this. If a quote is not accepted at this point, we will re-assemble the device as best as we can. In some situations this may not be possible without replacing parts if they are damaged or broken preventing re-assembly. A good example of this is when the battery is found to be bloated and will need to be replaced. In these cases you may receive the device back in parts.

The quote will include the service charge and the prices of any parts we believe may require replacing. However, it is entirely possible that during the repair and testing we find that further parts are required. At this point we will need to agree with you and ensure payment has been received before we order the parts.
